Our Story

Cordova Paper Company was created by Shulammite Reece (Shula) on December 14, 2021. Shula's hand painted illustrations are the heart of Cordova Paper Co.

Shula is an Alaska based artist whose work is inspired by the beauty of the natural world, her personal experiences, and her faith. Her paintings invite viewers to experience the quiet majesty of the Alaskan wilderness through her eyes. Working in watercolor, pastel, gouache, oils, and egg tempera, she creates vibrant and expressive paintings that reflect a deep sense of wonder and connection to the places and moments that inspire her.

In addition to her artwork, Shula creates engaging activity books designed specifically for young artists. These books are filled with creative and fun activities that inspire artistic exploration.

A portion of the proceeds from Cordova Paper Co. is donated to organizations that address issues close to Shula's heart. This includes supporting first responders who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe, churches, as well as non-profit organizations fighting against the abhorrent crime of human trafficking.
