Hiding Behind Color

Hiding Behind Color

In this painting, myself and my other family members were experiencing heart break. It was a time of anger, mourning, growth, and forgiveness. It was a month of long nights and hard conversations.

Every painting is like a diary that represents a time period of my life. Regardless of what is happening or what has happened, I can go back to my painting and continue where I last left off. For a brief period of time, life pauses. It is important to have a healthy escape where you can take a step back, empty your mind, and breathe. What is your escape?
